Hi. I’d like to know about baptism. If someone is baptized, can they not leave the religion? Thanks.

Baptism into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints requires full immersion in water by a person who holds the priesthood authority to baptize.
Hi friend. I'm happy you're thinking about being baptized. I love being a member of this church. I hope you continue learn more. Are you already speaking with some of our Mormon missionaries? Have you visited one of our chapels to see how we worship? Please know that you'll always be welcome to worship with us.

When someone chooses to be baptized, they make a sacred promise to God that they will stay faithful to His teachings and commandments, including the commandment to attend church regularly when possible. Some people who are baptized choose to leave the church, but this is a serious mistake. We should always take the promises we make to God very seriously. Nevertheless, God lets each of us choose our own course. He never forces us to do the right thing.

I hope this answer helps, and I hope you continue to study more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
