I really want to go to the temple in July. Last august I did some things I was not proud of. I did not have sex.. But I almost did.. I have been working so hard to repent. I do not feel any guilt anymore and I am sooo happy. I have not confessed to the bishop yet… I have been too ashamed. I need to do it now to get my recommend will I be able to, though it has only been 10 months?… And can I confess to anyone on the bishopric?

Hi friend. I'm happy you posted your question here. I think it's great that you want to go to the temple and that you're preparing yourself for your first visit! It's a wonderful blessing to participate in the sacred temple ordinances.
It's not really my place to judge the severity of your sins. It is certainly true, though, that many sexual sins are serious enough that speaking with the bishop is an important part of the repentance process. There's no reason to be ashamed. Bishops are eager to help, and I think your bishop will be happy you had the courage to speak with him.
One of the questions in the temple-recommend interview is: "Have there been any sins or misdeeds in your life that should have been resolved with priesthood authorities but have not been?" You'll want to make sure you can answer that question honestly so you can fully enjoy the peace that comes from temple worship. May God's Spirit accompany you along the path to full repentance. Good luck.
