This will sound ridicoulous and Im 99.99 percent sure this isn’t true, but my curiosity has got me. I was reading a website that had “facts Mormons won’t tell you” and one was that Mormon women have to say pregnant throughout eternity and that Mormon husbands will have to have sex with many other wives in eternity to populate their own earth? I’m just hoping that’s not true cause I don’t want husband doing that!

Hi friend. No worries... You were right in being suspicious of a claim like this. Mormons do believe that if properly prepared through the grace of Christ, we'll have the opportunity to participate with God in the creative process. However, we don't teach anything about eternal pregnancy, celestial polygamous sex, or even the idea that we'll have an earth of our own to populate. These are all anti-mormon charges that are nothing more than fiction designed to get others to dislike us. Best of luck to you!

What you've read is not true and was probably written by an anti-Mormon. Some of their ideas are really weird. It is true, however, that we believe that certain people will have the power to create in the afterlife. That is considered to be part of the gift of "eternal life" if you receive the highest glory God can give to you--to be able to create just like God the Father. However, no one knows exactly how that works, and I doubt it's by literally being pregnant the way that women are pregnant on Earth. :P There are a lot of lies about the LDS church on the Internet and even in books, and there are also a lot of misconceptions. You have stumbled onto one or the other. I am an adult convert to the church, and I assure you that I would not have joined if there was anything that weird going on. I hope that helps answer your question! ¿_¿

These rumors are completely unfounded and are intentionally put out there to confuse and scare people away from the church. Pregnancy as we know it is a mortal experience. The fact of the matter is that we have no idea what the process is for having "spirit children" in heaven. Our Heavenly Father has never revealed how that all happens. However, understanding the nature of celestial bodies, I'm sure that however it is done, it does not involve the discomfort and pains that pregnancy and childbirth causes in mortality.
There is no church doctrine that it is necessary for a man to have plural wives in the celestial kingdom.

This is not true. This life is patterned after eternity. The ideal of family and marriage that is taught in the church is what is expected in the eternities. It includes mutual respect, love, service, etc.
Certainly we can have faith that Gods plan will not suck. On the contrary, you will be blessed way beyond your current finite expectations.
There is no official doctrine about us having our own earth. The only doctrine that is provided is that the righteous will inherit the celestial kingdom which is here on earth.

lol, no!! There is a lot of misinformation on the web. The closest I can find out WITHIN church doctrine might be in relation to eternal progression. which is that if we make enough right choices here, we will be free to continue making choices there.
And as for FORCING women to share their husbands, or Forcing men to have other wives... Where in any church policy that you have ever read is ANYONE FORCED to do anything? We are asked, and we are free to decline every aspect of the gospel. The Gospel is, a lot, about the choices we make.
Have faith Sister. God will never push you beyond your ability to hold. Or his ability to help you hold.

What does your heart tell you the truth is on this one? Personally - I feel that site wasn't a Church Sponsored site.
I also don't want to be doing that either. I mean sex can be pretty good, but forever all the time? Wouldn't that make it less than what it should be!?
Unfortunately we don't know the answers to all questions in this life, we live by faith and hope. But what I do know is that when we come again to heaven we will remember what it was like, and we will have joy and we will be happy to do what we need to in order to become as our Father in Heaven already is. (see Job 37:28 about pre-life)

If you are looking for truth about Mormons on a site that is anti-Mormon, you are not likely to find very much that is accurate or true. It's like taking sunscreen with you while traveling to visit the sun, for fear you might get burned. You should go to the source for truth... I have to admit, people can come up with some crazy ideas about what we believe but no, your statement is not true.

Sometimes 'facts' are not what they seem. What this 'fact' states is a gross oversimplification and misunderstanding of a beautiful and sacred doctrine. I would invite you to read the section called "Kingdoms of Glory" at lds.org for an explanation of what we believe. http://lds.org/study/topics/kingdoms-of-glory?lang=eng
