Before I went on my mission, I asked God if I should go and felt like the answer was no. I went anyway, and after six months I was sent home. I’ve waited three months now trying to decide if I should return, and I feel like the weight of the decision is doing me more harm than good. What do you think I should do?
Hi Erikson. I'm sorry to hear about all these challenges. I assume you were sent home from your mission because of health reasons, since you have the option of returning.
Brother, only you can decide if your health will permit you to continue your full-time missionary service. Helping others through missionary work is a great blessing, even with all the struggles that come with missionary life. But if your health will not permit you to finish, than know that God will accept the sacrifice you've already made. There's no shame in being unable to finish a mission for health reasons. I hope this answer helps.
