Start with the first word. I'm not being silly here. I had the same problem and received that advice from my family. Take a deep breath, make sure you are in a private setting, and then start. Doesn't matter where you start, what you start with, or how you phrase yourself. Just let it all out. Include your concerns about what to do, and how to do it. The bishop will pick out the things that are most concerning and need the most work and tell you the next step. He'll be more understanding than you expect him to be, too. As for what to expect... Expect love. Each person is taken individually and the right discipline for one might be too harsh for another, and the bishop knows that. The most important part is that you talk to him, what comes after is always easier than you think it will be.

Pray first, confess your sins, be worthy and wait for an answer from above. I know it will work.

In 2 Timothy 2:5 thier is one mediator between God and man and that is Christ Jesus as our advocate thru the Father. If we confess our sins he is faithful just to forgive our sins thru the blood of Jesus Christ. We are to go to Heavenly Father thru Jesus Christ to repent. Our sins our washed away by the blood of Jesus. Your bishop will help you with this process. Let the holy spirit as your gide and comforter guide you.
