What is it like to visit a chapel?
I'm happy you're thinking about converting to Christianity! My Christian faith has brought me a lot of peace over the years. I get excited when others are looking for the same thing! Faith in Christ doesn't solve all our problems, but, for me at least, it has given me strength to face those problems.

I belong to a Christian church called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some people call us the Mormons. The teachings of Jesus that I've learned in this church have been such a blessing in my life. I hope you find the same.

There could be legal requirements in your country, but typically a Christian conversion is spiritual. I've written an article about how to convert to Christianity on this page. This other page about conversion might also be helpful, given that you're from India.
The Church’s missionary program is one of its most recognized characteristics.
In brief, the first steps are to chat with some of our missionaries and to visit one of our chapels. The missionaries will be happy to give you more direction.

If you're over 18, then you're an adult. You don't need your parents' consent to convert. But it would be good to involve them in the process! Help them understand why you've developed this faith in Jesus. Let them know that the good and true things they taught you will stay with you even after you convert. It's wonderful when conversion does not lead to family conflict.

I hope this answer helps, and I hope you continue to develop your faith in Christ! Please let me know if you have any further questions. All the best.
