Is it true that you have to practice polygamy in the celestial kingdom to reach the highest glory? I think this is quoted in the Journal of Discourses.

Hi Abby. Good to hear from you again. The LDS Church does not teach that people must practice polygamy in order to enter into the Celestial Kingdom. In fact, the "doctrine and covenants and Church History: Seminary Teacher Resource Manual" (an official church publication) offers the following counsel to Mormon religion teachers: "Avoid sensationalism and speculation when talking about plural marriage. Sometimes teachers speculate that plural marriage will be a requirement for all who enter the celestial kingdom. We have no knowledge that plural marriage will be a requirement for exaltation."
The Journal of Discourses is an interesting historical book. It contains many true teachings, but it is not considered authoritative (i.e., canonical) in the Church. There are a lot of things published in the Journal of Discourses that modern Mormons don't believe. Hope this answer helps.
