The Church's missionary program is one of its most recognized characteristics.
Hi Raffaele. Thanks for your interesting question. Mormons believe that, to progress spiritually after death, people need to make very sacred promises (covenants) with God, like the promises associated with baptism. We believe it's best not to delay making these promises, since they can lead to rich spiritual blessings. That's why we have a missionary program to help others learn more about our church.

Many people don't have the opportunity to make these promises while living. Mormons believe it's also possible to make them after death. If someone refuses in this life, perhaps because they didn't understand the importance of making and keeping covenants, they may well have the opportunity to make those promises with God after they die. Everyone who wants to make covenants and is willing to keep them will have the opportunity to do so.

In the Mormon view of the afterlife, very few people end up in hell. Surprisingly, some Mormons even believe that only Mormons can be condemned to hell.

Could you please show me in the Bible where it says you get a chance to repent after death. Thank you.

They get more chances. That's the short answer. The LDS church teaches that people who refuse their religion don't understand it. They will have more chances than we think. God is about love. Would you condemn YOUR children to death just because THEY didn't understand algebra? Neither will God.
