Hi friend. Thanks for your question. The idea that "men may become Gods" is frequently misunderstood/misrepresented. The way you have phrased it suggests to me that you too may have misunderstood this concept. Perhaps this page, with scripture references, could help you.
I'm not sure what you mean by "many worlds." Do you refer to the idea that God created the entire universe and all the worlds therein? This ideas is expressed in Moses 1:33, for example.
Mormons accept the Bible as scripture. We accept the creation account given in Genesis. Some see elements of this story as allegorically true rather than literally true, but the account is scripture nonetheless. A similar account of creation can be found in Moses 2-3.
