I want to ask for help. I haven’t been a member of the church for very long, and I’ve prayed to God asking Him to send the Holy Ghost to testify to me about the Book of Mormon, but I haven’t received an answer yet. Can you council me? I know the church is true; I just haven’t gotten an answer about the Book of Mormon. Please help me.

Jebus,

Hi Jebus. I'm very happy to hear that you have a testimony that the Church is true. How interesting that you have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel, but not yet the Book of Mormon. I think there may be many in your same situation.

God will always answer our prayers, but He answers in His own time. Some people receive an answer to their prayers easily and quickly. Some revelations take a little bit longer to come. I recommend that you continue to study and pray. Don't feel like you need to have a testimony of everything all at once. Just keep trying your best to live the gospel, and your testimony will grow little by little every day. Remember that believing in the testimonies of others is also an important spiritual gift (D&C 14:14). God doesn't require us to know everything. He only expects us to try our best every day to exercise a "particle of faith" (Alma 32:27). Good luck.
