Hi. I would love to belong to your church and to be a member! I’m excited and want to make important changes in my life. But first I’d like some more information, like where your churches are and more about your activities. Thanks.

Hi Gaby. How wonderful that you're interested in joining the Church! I've been a member for over 20 years, and every year my faith grows stronger. I'm not a perfect person, but I'm a better person than I would be if I didn't have the transforming influence of Jesus Christ in my life. I've seen the gospel of Christ change so many lives for the better. I know it can change your life too! I recently wrote an article entitled "How can I Join the Church?" that you might find helpful.
Let me give you a little bit of information about the Church:
There are over 13 million people who have been baptized as members of the Church in the whole world.
There is a strong Mormon community in Costa Rica. As of 2004, there were over 30,000 Mormons in Costa Rica worshiping in about 80 congregations.
Here's a brief description of some of our activities:
The most important activity is our Sunday worship service. Mormons meet together to share stories of faith and to worship God. As a Christian church, our worship services focus on Jesus Christ and the message of His gospel. I invite you to visit a Mormon chapel to see how we worship. You can learn the address and the meeting time of the chapel nearest your house online.
There are also a number of activities for youth, including campouts, daily religious education (seminary), other weekly social activities, and occasional dances. Mormons believe that faith is strengthened when people worship together and build friendships with each other. That's why we enjoy social activities so much.
Some Mormons participate in community service projects. We have a service organization called "Helping Hands" that works to better communities all over the world.
Mormons also encourage families to worship together in their homes. Many Mormons have "family home evenings" in their homes on Mondays to talk about Jesus Christ, for example.

Fortunately, now it's easier than ever to learn more about the Church. There are over 50,000 volunteer Mormon missionaries in the world who visit people in their homes to teach them more about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm sure they'd be very happy to meet with you, since you're so interested in the Church. You can schedule a meeting with them online.
Let me know if you have any more questions! I'm very excited for you! It's such a blessing to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Good luck.
