Through prayer, we can communicate with our Heavenly Father. He's anxious to guide and help us.
Hi Amanda. I'm happy you're learning more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love being a member of this church and hope you also find peace in this religion one day.
To receive inspiration from God about the truthfulness of the church, I recommend two steps.
First, "study it out in your mind." That means reading the scriptures, pondering gospel principles, going to the church regularly to see how we worship, chatting with other members of the church about their faith, etc.
Second, ask God if you're on the right path. Pray regularly asking Him how he wants you to proceed. I don't mean one single prayer. Sometimes inspiration takes time. Ongoing prayers are often best for discovering God's will.
