Mormon Christianity is growing rapidly in India.
Hi Divya. I'm happy you're interested in learning more about Christianity. I belong to a Christian church called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This church has brought me much spiritual peace and happiness because it's helped me become more familiar with the teachings of Jesus Christ. I hope you find the same benefits as you continue to learn more about Christianity!
A number of Hindu's have posted on this site asking about Christianity in general and Mormon Christianity in particular. Here are some links that you might find helpful:
Hello, Divya! That is wonderful that you are interested in Christianity! Trying my best to follow Jesus Christ has been the greatest source of happiness in my life, and I know that it would bring you deep joy, as well. It can sometimes be challenging to do what is right, but God always gives us more than we give to Him. I agree with El Gringo and Jeanie: you should meet with Mormon missionaries, pray, and read the Book of Mormon. The missionaries can share important things with you about prayer, and they could also bring a copy of the Book of Mormon.
A very good way to learn about Christianity would be to learn about its most important aspect: Jesus Christ. He truly lived on this earth, performed miracles, gave His perfect life for us, and was brought to life again. He lives today, and He loves you. I would go to http://www.mormon.org/Jesus-Christ to learn more about Him.
May God's blessing be with you in your search for truth and happiness!

For members of the church, Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer through whom salvation is made possible. (Reflections of Christ)
It is wonderful that you feel this way. I have a couple questions for you to think about. First, have you read about the life and ministry of Jesus? Do you believe He is the Son of God? Do you believe that He was sent to earth to provide an atoning sacrifice for our sins? If so, you are already Christian at heart.
Second, do you desire to become a member of a Christian church? If so, that will require being baptized. (In our church, and in some others, this involves full immersion in water, while in other churches a sprinkling on the forehead is the form of baptism.)
I would encourage you to speak to our missionaries about Jesus and about our beliefs. God bless.

Good question! First read the 'Book of Mormon', then pray and ask God if it's true, then notice your feelings, so you don't miss the answer when it comes (it's usually VERY personal and often unique! ), then attend a meeting near you, invite the missionaries to teach you, and befriend some active Mormons. That should do it!
