First of all, Mormons think that everyone will be saved from physical death, thanks to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We will all resurrect just as He did; death is not the end of our existence. On the other hand, when we take advantage of the knowledge we do have, we gain the opportunity to progress spiritually, both in this life and after death.
