I always go to Mormon churches even though I’m Catholic. I’ve been going for about the last 12 years. I’d like to become a member. I’d like to chat with the missionaries to see if they can help me get on the right path. I have three children, and I’m out of work. I also wanted to know if the church can help me with that too. Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi Tosho. I'm happy you want to officially become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You've been coming to church for many years, so you probably understand the benefits that come from regular attendance. Baptism will bring additional blessings, brother, because you'll receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and will be able to serve in church callings. I'm excited for you!
The best way to speak with the elders is simply to approach them at church. Once they learn that you'd like to become a member of the church, they'll be very excited to help you. If for whatever reason you can't find them, speak with your bishop or branch president. He could help you as well. You can also request a missionary visit online, though requesting a visit that way sometimes results in delays. Speaking directly with the missionaries at church would be much faster.
The main benefits that come from worshiping God in the church are, of course, spiritual. It's true, though, that some Mormon congregations have employment resources that are available to both members of our church and others. Perhaps your bishop could help with your employment situation as well.
