A few months ago we went too far with our kisses, kissing on the neck and ears. We felt bad about it right away. We decided we weren’t going to do it anymore. Obviously, we should avoid sinful acts at all costs! Additionally, we should be careful not to intentionally cultivate sinful thoughts. We should not, for example, intentionally fantasize about doing things that should only occur between husband and wife. However, being physically attracted to someone we love is perfectly normal. It is not a sin.
The kissing you described is dangerous because it can lead to sin. It's good that you stopped. However, I do not believe you have done anything that would require you to speak with your bishop.
