I think it's wonderful that you've found someone you love so much. Baptism is much more than a simple act. It's a symbol of a sacred promise that one makes with God, and so it's a very serious decision. You should only get baptized if you feel within yourself the desire to begin a new life as disciple of Christ and to become a member of His church. I council against getting baptized just for your boyfriend's sake.
You should know, though, that there are many, many people that get to know the church through a friend, a family member, or a romantic interest. These people do not get baptized because of their friends, but their friends do help them to understand the beautiful truths that exist in the Church of Christ. I invite you to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ. The Church has blessed my life in ways I cannot even describe! You can learn more about Mormonism by receiving a visit from our representatives, the so-called "Mormon missionaries."
