My name is Fabio, and I’m 18 years old. I’m not a member of the church yet, but I’d really like to be. Unfortunately, family, work, and school problems have forced me to postpone my participation in the true church of Jesus Christ. Just the same, in the little free time I have I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I’d like to know where I could get the books about the teachings of the presidents of the church. Where could I get them in Buenos Aires, Argentina?

Hi Fabio. I'm very happy that you have such a strong testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! I've been a member of the church for many years; being Mormon has been the greatest blessing of my life. I encourage you to do all you can to strengthen your faith through regular church attendance!
Fortunately, the Church has published many of its manuals, including the manuals about the modern-day prophets, online. You can download these manuals from the Church's official webpage. It's excellent that you're so interested in spiritually strengthening yourself through gospel study. You're not even a member of the church yet, and you're already a great example for the rest of us! :)
Good luck to you, Fabio. I hope you find spiritual peace through your dedicated study of the gospel.

Dearest brother Fabio, I was in Charleston, South Carolina. I was 14 years old. My brother and mother had had a horrible fight and that's the day he moved out. He was 15. Family is so important. I was attending the Methodist and Episcopal churches at that time. I always prayed the way I was taught... Now I lay me down to sleep... A recited prayer. I didn't know exactly how to pray... What to say I mean, so I did the best I could and pleaded w/ Heavenly Father for his help. That day was a traumatic day for me to see my best friend leave; never to return home again. The very next day two missionaries came to the door. I still am the only member of my family who is a member and so to fight against the odds, I finally came to Utah in 1983.
A missionary visiting Brazilian friends in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil.
Missionaries are the emissaries of Jesus Christ. You've seen them on the street: backpacks, white shirt, tie, clean-cut and you can tell that the Holy Ghost is within them. Missionaries have the power of the priesthood... And they will tell you everything you need to know... And answer your questions. They carry the Book of Mormon and will have a free copy for you.
As far as your life being so busy, let it not be so busy that the gospel is not in and the whole of your life. Like Joseph Smith, I wondered what church was the right one and the Lord heard my plea and sent the missionaries to my home. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know who you are. Also, http://www.mormon.org are wonderful ways to know. The Book of Mormon is online in English and Spanish. My husband served a mission in Brazil in 1970-72. We serve in the Jordan River Temple. You are at a wonderful age of discovery.
Please do not let the world's activities and tasks keep you from what you know to be true. You already have a testimony. There is even a temple in your city. Go to the temple and sit there and enjoy the majesty of our Lord's design and word.
I already know I love you. Thank you for listening. You will be the key to your families' exaltation. Everyone is saved; not everyone will be exalted. Only those who will love and serve the Lord with all their might, mind, heart, and soul.
