A Christmas video produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Many people wonder if Mormons celebrate Christmas. As Christians, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints do celebrate Christmas. It's an excellent opportunity to remember and celebrate the birth of our Savior.
I recently heard the story of one Protestant woman who gave her Mormon friend a Christmas gift. The next Sunday, her pastor incorrectly preached that Mormons are not Christian. The Protestant woman, mortified that she had given a Christmas present to an alleged non-Christian, went to her friend and apologized. Of course no apology was necessary! Mormons are Christian, and they celebrate Christmas just as most other Christians do. You can learn more about our Christian beliefs by chatting with some of our missionaries.
