As per scripture references let's see if I can find some: (Do you have your Bible ready?) 1 Corinthians 15:29
What place is this where Stephen looking at wherin he sees Jesus (son of man) standing on the right hand of God? See Acts 7:55-56
Matthew 22:23-33 Jesus talking with the sadducees (which say there is no ressurection, or life after this) but Jesus in verse 29-31 is talking about the resurrection of the dead. Why would he mention such if there were no ressurection?
Latter-day doctrine and scriptures adds to this concept by declaring further truths about this life and the one following life. One small example I will quote here, found in Alma 40 verse 11-12: "Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection—behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life. And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow." (Book of Mormon | Alma 40:11-12)
So by these few scriptures we see that there is a life after this one.

Yes, we really do believe in life after death. Here are some biblical references for you...
John 3:16: For God so Loved the World, that he Gave his Only begotten Son, that whosoever Believeth in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life .
John 17:3: And this is Life Eternal, that they might Know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast Sent.
1 Peter 4:6: For for this cause was the Gospel Preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:51-55: Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory. O Death, where Is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1 Corinthians 15:42: So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.
Revelations 20:12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book Of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Isaiah 25:8: He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
Isaiah 26:19: Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
John 5:25-29: Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of Man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
John 11:25-26: Jesus said unto her, I am the Resurrection, and the Life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
In addition, there are other scriptures that we believe in that confirm, edify, and further explain what the Bible teaches about the afterlife. These include scriptures from the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of great Price.

Hi Anonymous. Mormons do believe in life after death. Here are some Bible verses that may help:
Resurrection is a form of life after death: 2 Cor. 1:9, 1 Thes. 4:16, Rom. 8:11, John 11:25, Acts 3:15, Acts 24:15, Acts 26:8, 1 Cor. 15:52, 1 Cor. 15:21.
After death, our consciousness continues: John 5:25, 1 Peter 4:6, 1 Peter 3:19.
Christ Himself spoke of life after death: Luke 23:43, John 14:2, Luke 16:19-26.
What place is this where Stephen looking at wherin he sees Jesus (son of man) standing on the right hand of God? See Acts 7:55-56
