Dear webmaster, First I want to congratulate about this great site. And thank you the article helped me much. So I study the missionary lections with the missionaries and I arrived at the chapter 4. Everytime when I study with them I feel the spirit, and yes now I feel the spirit to I think the Holy Ghost guides me to write these things. Im Christian since 2005 but I’m not baptized until yet. So the thing that I want to tell is. I’m a Turk and from Turkey, but live in Germany and now I’m 22 years old. So what you think should I baptize you at the LDS church? My concern is about that are Turks welcome or not at the church? I hope you write some sentences back Thank you

Hi!
All I can tell you is that we all are children of God, so it doesn't matter which nationality you are. If you feel the spirit you should get baptized. Everybody is welcome at church! I think you will find a lot of friends cause almost everybody is kind at church.
Just follow the whispers of the Holy Spirit.. And by the way...
WELCOME TO THE LDS CHURCH!!!! ;)
Greetings from Mexico!

Yes, you can be baptized if you're a Turk. Your ethnicity does not matter :) or affect whether you can be baptized or not.

The Church's missionary program is one of its most recognized characteristics.
Hello my friend,
I am not the webmaster of this page. But please allow me to write some words in reply to your question.
I live in Germany, too. Momentarily I live in Frankfurt, which is a very international city. In our ward we have members for example from Uruguay, Iran, Poland, and China. And I can assure you that everybody is welcome in the church! We are all children of our Heavenly Father. And our Father in Heaven does not judge in lines of nationalities or ethnic backgrounds.
I think that it is wonderful that you enjoy your meetings with the missionaries. Please just listen to the message that the Holy Ghost sends to your heart. The only way to find a true and reliable answer to your question is by praying to our Heavenly Father and asking him for guidance concerning your steps. Ask him to grant you the testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and be open to embrace His spiritual guidance.
You have to make the decision to join the Church yourselves. But I am perfectly sure that your local members will welcome you with open arms and a warm heart, regardless of your nationality.
I hope this answer helps.
All the best, Nils.

Missionaries in Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil.
Dear friend, What a pleasure to receive a message from someone who is interested in becoming a member of the LDS Church! This church has been a great blessing in my life, so I get very excited when I hear about others who are interested in learning more! I'm very happy that you're already talking with the missionaries and feeling God's spirit in your life.
The Church of Jesus Christ is for everyone, including people from Turkey. Jesus Christ taught that the gospel should go forth to all nations and all peoples. For us Mormons, it's a great honor when someone like yourself, with so interesting a personal background, considers joining our church. I'm certain you'd be welcome in your local Mormon congregation. I encourage you to visit us this Sunday to see how we worship!
The LDS Church has congregations all over the world, from Japan to Africa. Most Mormons don't live in the United States. I have two sisters and a brother who have served or are currently serving in Europe, and they tell me that many European converts are immigrants like yourself. I think you'll be in good company! :)

Baptism into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints requires full immersion in water by a person who holds the priesthood authority to baptize.
Hi Gökhan! I'm very happy that you've decided to be baptized!!! What a wonderful and exciting time in your life. I know you can find the same joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ that I and so many others have found. I'm very excited for you!!!
I would love to receive pictures of your baptism. With your permission, perhaps I could post them here on my website. My email is webmaster@allaboutmormons.com. Thanks so much for writing back and letting us all know that you've decided to make this important decision! Good luck! :)
