Hi dear companions in life, I want to hear some preacher and go to your church. But first I got to talk to one of you senders. Cause am suffering a lot and want to have a superior God above me who takes cares of me. Am 26 and want to change religion. First I have a history of drug addiction and am 7 months sober because of alcoholic anonymous. Second my parents dont trust a bit in me. And I dont want to make them suffer anymore. Living in their house brings memory of fights, discussions, and bad faces. I have a God who wishes me the best. Today am in trouble. They think am using maryjane cause I gave a sandwich to a hippie that looked hungry and then I passed by. Mother created this idea thast I was asking for drugs. And they want me intern for 1 years in rehab. No way don’t know what to do and they are about to called the ambulance. GOD is the only one who could help me. And if if it does then am am commitng myself as mormon. Thanks.

For members of the church, Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer through whom salvation is made possible. (Reflections of Christ)
Hi Sonia. I'm happy you're interested in learning more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. People often look for religion when they are going through changes in their lives. You seem to be going through a lot of changes, so it's excellent that you're trying to connect better with God. The Mormon lifestyle is also one that could support you in your efforts to avoid drugs and alcohol.
Best of all, the teachings of Jesus Christ that we receive in the church help strengthen our spiritual lives and bring us a lot of peace. It sounds like you could really use that kind of peace in your life.
