According to your church, who is more important, men or women? I ask because women can’t baptize. Do they have the same rights?

Hi friend. In our culture, men and women have equal value. They are both children of God with infinite worth. It is true, though, that men and women have somewhat different roles in the church, but one is not better than another.
Men have what is called the "priesthood." The priesthood is the authority, given by God, to administer ordinances like baptism. Women, on the other hand, are given the responsibility over training and teaching the rising generation, in the family as mothers, and/or in the church as teachers. Both of these roles are very important.
Both men and women pray in church, preach sermons, and serve as leaders. Both are invaluable members of our society.
