Hi Jagadish. I'm very happy that you're interested in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mormonism is a beautiful expression of the Christian faith. I know that I've grown closer to Jesus Christ through the teachings I've received through His restored gospel.
I recently wrote an article that you might find helpful entitled "How can I Join the Church?" As I explain in that article, the first important steps to becoming a Mormon are:
Visiting a Mormon chapel some Sunday so you can see how we worship and so you can get to know the members of your local Mormon congregation.
I'm guessing from your name that you are Indian. I consider myself to be something of an "Indianophile." :) You might be interested in learning more about the Church in India; there was recently an interesting article about it in the news. Also, if I'm not mistaken the creator of bomtoons.com is an Indian Mormon. I think that site is awesome. :)
