Hi friend. I'm sorry to hear that your parents won't let you come to church. What a difficult situation. There's a scripture in the Book of Mormon where God teaches us that we are not required to run faster than we have strength. That means that God only expects us to try our best; he doesn't expect us to do the impossible. In your case, since you can't go to church, I suggest you do everything you can to develop your own spirituality. For example, continue to read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. Pray every day, and ask God to touch your parents' hearts so they will let you come to church. Listen to good music, to songs about Jesus Christ and His restored gospel. Read Church manuals and magazines to learn more about Mormon doctrine. Every once in a while, in a very kind way, ask your parents once again for their permission.

If you can't convince your parents to let you go to church, you may have to wait until you're 18 years old, when you'll be an adult and can make the decision for yourself. I know that God will bless you if you try your best to follow Him. Often times the things we have to wait for are the sweetest things of all. Some day when you are able to come to church, that experience will be all the sweeter. Good luck.

Dear friend, if I were you I would pray, and fast. But remember it's a commandment to obey your father and your mother. If they still don't let you, give it time. But always remain faithful! And don't give up or lose hope!

Hang in there, discuss with your parents the why you want to go, and be patient, you will be leagally seen as an adult soon enough, and your parents will, hopefully, recognize that soon.

Like the others who have posted simalar problems, I would suggest a family movie night with "Fiddler on the Roof" together with your parents and yourself, you'll understand when you see it.
