Mormon missionaries bearing testimony
Hi friend. To bear one's testimony is to publically declare knowledge that someone has received from God. For example, someone preaching a sermon might bear their testimony about the divinity of Jesus Christ, saying that they know for themselves, independent of anyone else, that Jesus is the Son of God.

As another example, a missionary teaching someone about the Church might bear testimony that the ancient apostolic authority Christ gave to His apostles has been restored in modern times and can be found in the church. The missionary can confirm that God has revealed the truth of this restoration to him personally, independent of anyone else.

To bear ones testimony is: To tell another what added intelligence you have received from God in this life about anything. What you know, or in its infant stages, what you hope you know. Thus giving opportunity for the Holy Ghost to bear witness to you, as well as your audience, truths of those things which are not seen, but are true none the less, and hoped for.
