Hi again 🙂 I’m the one who asked if you consider Adam the “godfather” instead of God the Father.. (it was really a grammatical error) Well.. This time I’d like to have some practical advice. I’m going to spend Christmas holiday with my boyfriend and his family in Utah. How do you use to celebrate Christmas?

Hi friend. I'm happy you returned to the site to post more questions. I'll actually be in Utah for Christmas as well! Most Mormon Christmas traditions are similar to the traditions of other Christians in the United States. It's a time to com together and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
There's going to be a World-wide Mormon Christmas broadcast from Salt Lake City tomorrow, in case you're interested. It might be a good way to get to know our traditions better.
One common tradition in Utah is to visit Temple Square, the area where the Salt Lake Temple is located. The Church grounds are decorated with a nativity scene and Christmas lights. It's cold outside, but definitely worth seeing.
The Utah Symphony also performs Handel's Messiah every year and invites people to come sing along with them. I've never done it myself, but I've heard it's a wonderful experience. It looks like that performance has already past, but you might be able to find other Handel sing-alongs in the area.
I hope you enjoy your time in Utah! It's a great opportunity to get to know Mormon culture and teachings better. Best of luck to you.
