Secret Recording from Inside a Mormon Chapel!

by Carlos Bravo -

Okay, I guess it’s not so secret, since weekly Mormon worship services are open to the public. In fact, it even says “Visitors Welcome” on the sign out front. Also, I’m pretty sure the leader of the congregation saw me carrying my recorder as I walked to the pulpit. He didn’t seem to object.

I confess. The title of this post constitutes shameless link baiting. I just wanted you to click on my link, so I tricked you. That’s deception, and I apologize for it. But since you’re already here, why not listen to a recording of a sermon I recently preached at my local Mormon congregation? I worship with a group of Hmong Mormons. The Hmong are from Southeast Asia. They fought on the side of the Americans during the Vietnam War. When communists took over the Laotian government, the Hmong became a very oppressed people, and many fled to the United States. Trust me, these are some very interesting Mormons.

Sorry for the poor quality of this recording. Hope you enjoy it just the same.
