A 20 Year Old Harvard Undergrad Talks about her Mormon Faith
by -I thought those investigating the church might find this video interesting. Rachel Esplin is a Harvard junior from Blackfoot, Idaho. She here answers questions posed by Washington Post reporter Sally Quinn.

While Rachel did a far better job answering Ms. Quinn’s questions than I could have, I did want to clarify a few points.
- Rachel didn’t have much time to describe the Mormon view of Jesus Christ. I just wanted to clarify that Mormons believe Christ is divine, and we do worship Him. We are Christians in every sense of the word.
- Garments are thought to provide spiritual protection by reminding the wearer of sacred promises made to God in the temple. They do not typically provide physical protection, obviously.
