Hi Linda. You definitely won't be asked to leave if you wear pants! Women who join our church often choose to wear dresses or skirts for cultural more than religious reasons. Similarly, men tend to wear suits. However, it's quite common for people who are visiting for the first time to wear other types of clothes, and even some long-term members of our church choose to dress differently.
We try to make anyone who wants to visit us comfortable at our worship services. When you visit, let people know that you're visiting for the first time. I'm sure they'll be happy to help you. You can learn the address and meeting time of the Mormon congregation nearest your house online.
