Hi friend. When one is forced to kill in self defense, it's not properly called "murder." People have the right to protect themselves. Fortunately, in our modern society it's rarely necessary to kill anyone. There's almost always a way to escape the situation and to contact the police.
I doubt this is the case, but if you're thinking about killing someone who's threatening you, you should obviously contact the police instead. I hope this answer helps.
