Freedom To Do Good

In 1820, Joseph Smith had a vision of God the Father and Jesus Christ. They instructed him to restore Christ�s ancient church in modern times.
I was asked to pray myself in personal prayer… Privately whether the lessons were true… Whether the Book of Mormon is true scripture… Whether Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I was amazed at the strength of the Spiritual answer through my whole being. But, that was nothing compared to the answer that blew me off my knees; Joseph Smith was indeed a true prophet of God. I sat there amazed at the clarity of answer.
As I wiped my tears away, I realized my worldly mind would need time to gain a spoken testimony of Joseph Smith due to slander from friends and family. But, I had a testimony it was true through the Spirit already.
I am free to use my free moral agency for good or ill. My church attendance brings me lessons/example of how to use my agency for good and as a blessing to those around me and the world. I pray I will accomplish this through my Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ. He has shown us the ways to make this mortal existence as awesome an experience as possible. Good is way cooler and fulfilling than the sinful ways. I was truly rescued for the worldly view that day I prayed.
