Good afternoon. I’ve been inactive for four years because of factors beyond my control (my family). I have a strong testimony, and I want to come back to the church. My question is, can I still go on a mission, even though I am 24 years old?

The Church’s missionary program is one of its most recognized characteristics.
Hi Katy. How wonderful that you want to come back to the church and that your testimony is still so strong. So many blessings come from participating fully in our Sunday worship services. I'm happy for you, sister.

For single women, there is no upper age limit for missionary service. Once you've prepared properly, I'm sure you'll be an excellent missionary! If you feel God is calling you to this work, then, by all means, press forward! The church needs more valiant sister missionaries.

If you need any help coming back to the church, I suggest you contact the Mormon missionaries in your area. I'm sure they'll be happy to help you. Your bishop or branch president can also help.

Let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm happy to help.
