Hi. My name is Diana, and I’m 11 years old. Most of my family is Catholic. There’s a neighbor family of Mormons that were Catholic before they converted. I really love this family, and our two families are really good friends. Once I went with them to a Mormon church. On this day, I felt an incredible peace like I’ve never felt before. Christ felt close to me, and I felt in my heart that I should belong to this church. I plan to be a member one day even though I’ve I’ve already been baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church. One day I spoke with my mom about what I had felt in the church of latter-day Saints. My mom, like all moms, understood me and supported me a lot. When I went to the church of latter-day Saints I was well accepted and felt welcome.

I see our neighbors as if they were members of my own family. They’ve been so supportive and have taught me how to pray. I feel inside myself that I already belong to the Mormon religion. I’m very attracted to it. I want you all to help me understand how I can continue in this religion and join it officially. What are the steps I should take even though I have already been confirmed in another religion? Thank you.

Hi Diana. How nice to receive a message from a young lady who is so eloquent and spiritual. I'm happy you want to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love being a member of this church because my participation here has helped me grow closer to Jesus Christ. It's wonderful to feel God's Holy Spirit working in our hearts and in our lives. I can tell you have already felt that wonderful spirit!

You're very lucky to have such a supportive mother. I'm sure she has taught you many true religious principles. That must be the reason why you are so spiritually mature for your age. You must have a really good mother.
