Hi friend. Mormons believe that, for families to progress eternally together, certain important promises must be made with God. We believe it's best to make these promises in sacred temples, in this life. However, those of other faiths who don't have the opportunity to make these promises now can make them after they pass on after death. So yes, it is possible for those of other faiths to be with their families eternally.
Even those who do not choose to make these promises may still be able to see and spend time with their family members in the next life. Our doctrine doesn't really have anything to say about that, one way or the other. However, for families to progress spiritually together in the next life, these sacred promises are essential.
