I’d like to know what happens when a married member of your church has a relationship outside of marriage. I also want to visit your church and get to know more about what you believe.

Sealed members of the church who are guilty of such actions stand ready to lose all the blessings God has given to them in the church if they do not repent. This includes preisthood for men, and tithing, sacremental, and all associational privledges for all.
This type of behavior is displeasing to God. A talk given by Jeffrey R. Holland to the students at BYU entitled "Of Souls, symbols, and Sacrements" gives the "why" of the commandment to be faithful in marriage and abstinant before marriage. From the talk our Apostle of our God quotes from the Bible Proverbs 6:27-33
"Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes Not be burned?
Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be Burned? ...
But whoso committeth adultery with a woman Lacketh understanding: he that doeth it Destroyeth his own soul.
A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his Reproach shall not be wiped away."
In the Book of Mormon the ancient prophet historian Jacob recorded words on the seriousness of Sexual transgression as found in Jacob 2:22-35.
Apostle Dallin H Oaks gave a talk back in April 2007 on ths subject of marriage and divorce that represents God's mind on this subject. (see D&C 1:38)
I percieve that you and your husband are not members of the church so as such education, forgiveness, repentance, and working together again would probably be the perscribed remedy to the problem. You'll feel much better when you correct this very difficult situation, trust me.
Contact missionaries if you would like more information about joining. It's wonderful to be a member of this church.

If it Is known to the bishop or branch president who preside, that person will be called for a personal interview. It will be private and confidential. Depending on the inspiration of the bishop, he will help on the process of repentance.
