Hi. I’ve been inactive for the last 6 years because of problems with my mother. I was 12 years old when I went inactive. Just me and her are Mormon in our family. I want to come back to the church, but I’m not sure how. I don’t remember a lot of things. I’ve been reading the book, but the truth is that I feel pretty lost. I don’t know if you can help me. I don’t have contact with anyone in my stake. Thanks.

Missionaries: An Introduction.
Hi friend. I'm very happy you want to come back to the church and that you're reading the Book of Mormon! It can be hard to come back to the church when you've been gone for a while. I have two suggestions to help you:

1) Contact the missionaries. I'm certain they'll be happy to help you come back to the church. You can request a missionary visit online.

2) Find the Mormon chapel nearest your home and contact the bishop or branch president. The easiest way to talk with the bishop is to go to the chapel nearest your home any Sunday at 9:00. We have our worship services at that hour, and the bishop should be there. You might also be able to find the phone number of your local bishop online.

I hope this answer helps and that your desire to come back to the church continues to be strong. Being an active, participating member of the church is a great blessing.
