A Very Nice Thank-you Letter
by -It’s great to be able to return to this site as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This page helped me so much back when I was just getting to know the Church but couldn’t be baptized. I was only 16 years old when my curiosity lead me to seek out more information about this wonderful gospel. I was happy to find it, even though I knew I’d have to wait until I turned 18 years old to really be able to change my life.
The first great difficulty was the fact that I couldn’t count on the support of my parents. Sometimes they even criticized me, claiming I was going to church only on a whim. Many other difficulties came. Without the Gift of the Holy Ghost, I started to doubt my testimony and everything I’d felt. On May 19th, 2012, I made the difficult decision to be baptized, in the middle of a little confusion and guilt. You see, even after turning 18 years old, I’d still procrastinated this ordinance for more than a month.
I’m now benefiting from the companionship of the Holy Ghost, which is helping me move forward. Even in hard times, the Holy Ghost doesn’t let me deny everything I’ve felt and lived. I’m grateful for having found people like you on this site, who helped me with my understanding and testimony. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
