Where can I find a list of all the ‘do’s’ required by Mormonism? I’m thinking about fasting at least monthly, attend the temple often, keep a journal, keep a family history, cultivate friends, participate in the community, have a weekly family home evening, etc? I’m trying to get my life organized and I don’t want to forget anything. Thanks

Hi Penny. I'm happy you're so dedicated and organized. I've been thinking about lists like these a bit lately. It's very important that living the gospel not be reduced to a mere checklist. The whole purpose of the gospel is to help us connect with Christ. Now, of course, there are certain things we can do to improve that connection. In that sense lists can serve as helpful reminders. But the real purpose should always be to improve our relationship with Christ, as I'm sure you know.
That having been said, here are some ideas that came to my mind. Perhaps others will have some additional useful suggestions.
1) Follow the Ten Commandments. They're still good, even thousands of years later.
2) Read the scriptures.
3) Attend Church meetings regularly.
4) Pray daily.
5) Take time to ponder and mediate about spiritual things. Don't let life get so busy that you don't have time to think about God.
6) Attend the temple regularly.
7) Spend time with your family and cultivate your relationship with them.
8) Try to share the gospel with others.
9) Care for the poor and needy.
10) Avoid addictive substances that can ultimately lead to distractions from spiritual things.
Hope this little list helps. Best of luck to you.

If you always pray to Heavenly Father w/ a sincere heart, having faith, with humility, HE will speak to you through the Holy Ghost and by the power of the. Holy Ghost, you may know the truth of all things...
Faith is the key; Obedience is the power; Love is the motivation; CHRIST is the Reason.
