I want to get to know your church and your teachings, but elders aren’t coming to my house. Can you tell me what I should do? Should I just go to church, or what?

Hi Alejandra. I'm happy that you're interested in learning more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I love being Mormon. The Church provides such a vibrant faith community and does a lot to help its members grow closer to Jesus Christ. The LDS Church is very strong in Mexico, and there are several chapels in Torreón. You can learn the address of the chapel nearest your house online. Feel free to visit us any Sunday to see how we worship! Mormons love to have visitors. Here are some addresses of chapels in Torreón that I found on the Internet:

CAMACHO ESQ. RIO NAZAS
FLORES MAGON No. 301
PASEO DE LA ROSITA 698

I also suggest that you contact Mormon missionaries, also called Elders, as you mentioned. There are over 50,000 missionaries in the world who visit people in their homes to teach them more about Jesus Christ. Most people who are interested in Mormonism get to know about our basic beliefs through the missionaries. You can request a missionary visit online as well.

Hope this answer helps! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any more questions. Good luck, Alejandra.
