I am a female. I think I am very likable as I always find it easy to make friends with almost any nationality or any character. I am not religious but I believe I am spiritual. I am in a monogamous married relationship but my problem is — I am a very sexual person. My husband is not complaining of course but I am finding it difficult to connect being spiritual and being sexual. God has always been good to me and I have always felt unworthy of his great blessings, particularly feeling guilty for being this way. Should I correct my being sexual or should I correct feeling guilty about it?

Hi friend. My understanding is that some churches see sex as inherently carnal or sinful. For example, in some churches the clergy cannot marry because marriage is seen as a distraction from God's work. Other churches teach that sex should only be for procreation. Mormons don't see things that way.
We believe that sex outside of marriage is a serious sin. However, within marriage, sex is not at all shameful. Sex is not only for procreation but also for strengthening the relationship between a husband and wife. You shouldn't feel unworthy or guilty at all for sharing intimate moments with your husband. God sanctions marriage and marital relationships.
You mentioned that you're spiritual but not religious. I think it's excellent that you have an inherent desire to connect with God through spirituality. To be blunt, I'd like to invite you to become spiritual and religious. God can bless us when we worship Him through organized religion in ways that are not possible through spirituality alone. For example, organized religion provides a wonderful community of worshipers that can strengthen faith. Organized religion provides standards and encourages members to grow to meet those standards. Organized religion also contributes to one's cultural identity.
My membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been a great blessing in my life. If you ever want to learn more, feel free to request a visit from two of our representatives or to visit one of our chapels any Sunday. Mormons love to have visitors. In fact, there are about half a million Filipino Mormons! Good luck.
