I have been a member of the church for 4 months at the age of 26. I received the preisthood, but will not be able to serve a mission, and I am in a relatinship and plan to ask her to marry me in July. I am not an endowed member, but I do have a current temple recommend. My girlfriend served a mission and received her endowments. I would like to know how mine not being endowed will affect our chances of a temple marriage?

Hi friend. Congratulations on your recent baptism and your continued faithfulness! It sounds like you really are a great example of a dedicated recent convert. The only reason you can't serve a mission as a single member is because of your age, and the only reason you haven't yet been endowed is because you've only been a member for four months. The fact that you have already received the priesthood and hold a temple recommend clearly demonstrates that you're on the right path. Very nice!
As I'm sure you know, the temple endowment, which needs to precede a temple marriage, requires a certain amount of preparation. New members are usually not endowed during their first year in the church in order to give them a chance to prepare themselves properly. Fortunately, in your case I think the timing will work out perfectly. You've been a member for four months, so by the time you propose you'll have seven months under your belt. Assuming your engagement lasts at least five months, which seems reasonable, by the time you get married you'll have already been a member for a year. If you continue to prepare yourself with the same dedication you've already demonstrated, you'll probably receive your endowment a few weeks before your temple marriage. It should work out fine.
I suggest that you share your desire to marry in the temple with your girlfriend. Temple marriage could be a wonderful goal you two could work towards together, a goal that could strengthen your spiritual relationship with her. Best of luck!
