Hi friend. I can't imagine why any member of the church would say that someone who has broken the law of chastity can never be married in the temple. If repentance isn't possible, what good is the atonement of Jesus Christ? Isn't the purpose of that atonement to help people overcome their sins?

Breaking the law of chastity is a very, very serious sin. I suggest that you talk with your bishop, who can help you repent and make your life right with God once again. If your repentance is sincere, and it seems to me that you are sincere about wanting to change your life, then you could certainly be married in the temple. The central message of the Gospel is that anyone can overcome their sins through Jesus Christ. Hope this answer helps!

Repentance is a beautiful thing. Forgiveness is so sweet. Anyone who seeks forgiveness can qualify to go to the temple. I can only suggest you share your desire for forgiveness with your bishop. He will lovingly and tenderly help you do what needs to be done to qualify for a temple recommend. All the best.
