Hi friend. God always hears our prayers, but He answers in His own time and in His own way. He doesn't always give us the answer we want to hear, but He does give us the answer that is best for us.
Maybe God has already answered your prayers, but you haven't realized it. Maybe instead of giving you what you want, God is trying to change your heart so you'll want something else, so you'll want what God knows is best for you. I know from personal experience that these kinds of heart-changing answers can be the most powerful of all.
Best of luck to you. If you'd like a more specific answer, feel free to send more details about your specific situation.

Dear friend, The short answer is that Heavenly Father always listens to our prayers, but we may not always understand or recognize or like the answers. I would invite you to read the information found in Gospel Topics: Prayer found at lds.org. In addition, it appears that there is a serious matter that is bothering you. I would also invite you to meet with your bishop to see if he has any counsel for you.
