I’ve been reading a lot that mormons highly respect the Jewish faith and see Jews as the chosen people. My question was regarding a mormon marrying a Jew. Would the Jew (and Jewish family members), be allowed in the temple at a wedding ceremony?

Hi friend. Mormons do have great respect for those of the Jewish faith. In fact, Mormons respect those of all faiths. I have personally visited many different denominations and found beauty in all of them. However, temple worship requires a lot of preparation. Unfortunately, despite our great respect, without the appropriate preparation, which includes making a specific covenant with God through baptism, temple participation is not possible.
Mormons truly have no desire to keep anyone out of our temples. In fact, we have a massive missionary program whose purpose is to prepare anyone who's willing for temple worship. This preparation takes time, however, and a lot of dedication.

On this same site, you can read about ways those of other faiths can participate in Mormon weddings and why only those who have been properly prepared can enter into Mormon temples.
