I am searching for the truth. I feel drawn to learn more about the mormon beliefs. My husband strongly disagrees with my feelings, and has forbidden me to discuss my feelings with him or our children. I have never disobeyed my husband before now, but I feel very strongly about this matter. Can you offer me any suggestions in reaching my husband?

Coincidentally, another visitor recently asked a very similar question. Please see my answer in addition to the answers of others below.

Religion is a personal thing ask your husband will he allow you to have your own personal feelings? Will he stop your search for happiness? You may have to be strong to stick up for yourself you can tell him youre willing he investigate this church and that the missionaries will answer his fears or questions and say honey I really dont want to do this alone!

Also if you are seeking for the truth in this life and your husband forces you not to find it by your own obidience to his asking, I believe you will have your desire asap in the next life.

Let's all pray for your husband! We don't know you or your husband, but God knows and he will bless you both accordingly!

Pray and be patient. Do not disrupt your family life because of this. If you have to wait, then wait. But if you pray, have diligence, and be patient, you will be blessed. It maybe be a week, a month or years from now, but if you are patient, your husband will come around.
