I would like to know where I can find Mormons and/or a Mormon chapel in Barcelona. I would like to know more about the Mormons.

Simuy from Barcelona,

Dear Simuy,

The LDS Church has created a webpage that allows users to look up the addresses of LDS chapels world wide. The site can be found at http://maps.lds.org. That site shows that there are three Mormon congregations in Barcelona:
  • Av. Mare De Deu De Montserrat Nº 60
    E - 08024 BARCELONA
    Barcelona 08024
The first meeting is on Sunday at 11:15 am. The main meeting starts at 2:15 pm.
  • Av. Mare De Deu De Montserrat Nº 60
    E - 08024 BARCELONA
    Barcelona 08024
The first meeting is on Sunday at 9:00 am. The main meeting starts at 10:50 am.
  • Marqués De Sentmenat 35-37
    E - 08029 BARCELONA
    Barcelona 08029
The first meeting is on Sunday at 11:00 am. The main meeting starts at 10:00 am. (There must be a mistake here!)
When you visit, ask to speak with the bishop, who is the presiding leader of the congregation. Explain to him that you are visiting the church for the first time and that you would like to learn more about the Mormons. With luck, he'll be able to introduce you to members of the congregation who will accompany and help you. You may also wish to ask for the "missionaries," representatives of the Church that can visit you in your home and teach you more about LDS doctrine. You can also request a visit from the missionaries directly using the website located at http://www.mormon.org/question/talk/0,8554,796-1,00.html.

I hope you enjoy your first visit to an LDS chapel! The teachings of Jesus Christ have had a great impact for good on my own life. I'm excited for you to get to know the LDS Church for the first time!

Sincerely,

Miguel Castro

First go to http://www.lds.org, then move your mouse over "About the Church" and a bunch of subtopics will come up. Click on the "Meetinghouse Locator" link and you will easily see what to do from there.
