Cause the Deaf to Hear

I knew Joseph Smith was a prophet when I was having a hard night and feeling sorry for myself because I was losing my hearing due to medical complications. I had been reading my Book of Mormon, as best as I could remember, daily and on that night I just got down and prayed to know if I would be ok one day. I had a feeling come to my heart and body that burned and was full of peace (as the only way to describe it). After that I knew that God was real and Joseph Smith did in fact see what he claims he saw. It was only a moment of pure love from God, but in that moment God did more talking and testifying to my spirit then I heard vocaly in my deaf ears. God lives, Jesus is his Christ and Jesus died for my sins and yours. He is the way, the truth, and the light as he so testified of himself. This church is true and our prophets are called and chosen men of God. I testify of that in the name of Jesus Christ (our Savior), amen.
