His Spirit Fills Me
byThere are many things on earth that bring only temporary happiness to our lives. I have heard of people doing drugs or seeking unhealthy relationships in order to fill a “void.” I have often felt a “void” as well, but I have found that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints brings to my life the only true joy that can fill that void.
When I taught on my mission I came to know that what I was teaching was the truth. So many people are searching for a meaning and the Gospel of Jesus Christ can give that. Just reading the scriptures can give a feeling of peace and comfort. The faith in the Lord that I have, has brought me through some trials I thought I would never be able to bear. This is because I know that I am a child of God and He wants me to return to Him.
The prophets are on the earth today to lead us back; the Lord would never leave us alone. We can always pray and ask for His help. The Lord will even answer a prayer to know if the Church is true. Try it…I did! You will get an answer!
