For members of the church, Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer through whom salvation is made possible. (Reflections of Christ)
Hi Shalini. Both Pentecostalism and Mormonism are Christian religions, so they share most teachings in common. Both Pentecostals and Mormons recognize the Divinity of Jesus Christ, for example, and believe that salvation comes through Him alone.
These are different Christian denominations, though, so obviously there are some doctrinal differences. For example, Mormons believe that the ancient apostolic authority that Christ left with his apostles 2,000 years ago was lost and so had to be restored in our day through modern prophets and apostles.
The Message of the Restoration
Mormons do believe in the general concept of the Trinity, though we don't accept some of the details laid out in the Nicene Creed. Our view of the Trinity is more like that of "social Trinity," as described by the Christian theologians Karl Rahner and Jürgen Moltmann. In practice, though, these small details are not as significant as lots of people think they are.
One challenge is that Mormons and other Christians sometimes use different terms to describe similar ideas. If I understand "Holy Spirit anointing" correctly, I think it's similar in many ways to what Mormons call a "confirmation," a ceremony that takes place shortly after baptism.

If you'd like to learn more about our beliefs, I suggest you chat with the Mormon missionaries. There are over 70,000 missionaries in the world who visit people in their homes to teach them more about our beliefs. You can request a missionary visit online.
I hope this answer helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions. All the best.
